Our guide on how to watch the Royal Wedding

Visitors in their thousands are flocking to the UK to watch and join in the celebrations for the Royal Wedding between Prince Harry and Ms Meghan Markle on May 19 2018. Keep reading for our special guide on how to watch the Royal Wedding and where.

The couple will be making their vows in St George’s Chapel, located in Windsor Castle in the picturesque riverside town located a short distance outside London. Arrangements have already been put in place for the large volume of well-wishers expected to travel to Windsor for the day. Additional trains will be departing every 20 minutes from London Waterloo out to the station at Windsor and Eton Riverside and large displays are being erected so that those who are not on the guest list can still see all the goings on and feel part of the ceremony.

The procession route around Windsor will take in roads including Castle Hill, High Street, Sheet Street, Kings Road, Albert Road and the Long Walk and all will be open to visitors. However, you will need to arrive early to guarantee a good spot amongst the thousands expected on the day with fold up chairs de rigueur. Food stalls, live entertainment and viewing platforms are all planned across the town which shall be decorated with colourful bunting and banners.

If you’re staying in London, many bars, hotels and restaurants will be broadcasting the event and celebrating in their own unique ways. Here are some of our favourites in the local area to us:
