Royal Albert Hall has this festival programme down to a science
Royal Albert Hall will host its first Festival of Science from 5 May-10 July, featuring musical concerts, lectures, comedy, screenings and performances for all ages.
The variety ranges from the exploration of Albert Einstein’s genius in science to the musical genius of film composer John Williams, from film special effects to jazz.
In addition to two concerts of music from Star Trek during the festival, four Space Spectacular concerts on 11-12 May will feature popular space-themed works by Holst, Strauss and Williams performed by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra accompanied by lights, lasers and indoor fireworks.
You can easily beam yourself over to the festival. The Royal Albert Hall is just minutes by foot or vehicle from your flat at Nell Gwynn Chelsea Accommodation.
