Wave your wand today to be part of Harry Potter magic at the British Library this fall

Lumos maxima! Tickets go on sale at noon today (3 April) for the highly anticipated “Harry Potter: A History of Magic” exhibit that will run from 20 October 2017 through 28 February 2018 at the British Library.

The exhibit, done in collaboration with Bloomsbury to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the publication of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, will feature original material from J.K. Rowling’s personal archives. Inspired by the subject matter of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the Library will draw on its collection of wizarding and magical materials to explore topics ranging from potions and herbology to astronomy to care of magical creatures

Go to www.bl.uk/harry-potter-exhibition for tickets. Sales are only being conducted online, and each person is limited to six admissions.

Two decades after Rowling introduced Harry, the wizarding world has never been more popular. Bloomsbury has released special anniversary editions of Rowlling’s original series of books, her Fantastic Beasts “textbook” became a blockbuster film that was just released as an audiobook and on DVD/Blu-Ray, and the two-part dramatic sequel to the book series, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, hit the London stage last year. The Making of Harry Potter behind-the-scenes attraction on the Warner Bros. Studios tour outside London continues to be one of the U.K.’s top tourist draws and recently opened a new “Forbidden Forest” feature.

Plan ahead for a Potter-centric London stay making your favourite #MyChelseaFlat at Nell Gwynn Chelsea Accommodation your base. And prepare to be dazzled!
